Berkley vom Jax Creek - reserved
Berkley is a beautiful, sweet Appenzeller puppy like her mother, Madame. She loves to give hugs and kisses and be around people of all ages. True to the Appenzeller breed, she is also confident, independent and courageous. She enjoys being in the mix with our three adult Appenzellers and our Australian Shepherd. She also enjoys playing in the water. Berkley has been well-socialized with adults, children, and other dogs. She would make a great addition to any family, and would enjoy having other dogs to play with. The Appenzeller is a rare breed in the US and Canada. Berkley was born on April 27th, 2024. She is now reserved for her new home in New Mexico.
Our next litter is planned for Octoboer 2025
Our story
We are an active family with a great love for the outdoors and animals, especially the Appenzeller Sennenhund / Appenzeller Mountain Dog. When we got Scout in 2021, we fell in love with him and everything about the breed. We decided to embark on helping to advance this rare breed in the United States. When we were looking in 2023, there were no puppies available in the US or Canada. We began looking for EU breeders that would work with us, and we are grateful for support from Ca 'Dla Pia. We welcomed Madame to our family, and she hails from northern Italy. Madame is AMDCA and ENCI-registered. Scout is AMDCA-registered. Our full crew now includes Sage (our original rescue Aussie), Scout and Madame, Rocket-the-cat, and Bun Buns-the-Bunny, and, at the pleading of our kids, Atlas, the first-born of Madame's first litter.

About the Sire and Dam
As Appenzellers, Scout and Madame love to cuddle with their humans, run in the yard, swim in the nearby creek, and go for hikes. Like typical Appenzellers, they love the whole family, but "imprint" on one main person. Katie is Scout's "person," and Eva is Madame's "person." Their first son, Atlas, is James' "person."
Bull Run Ferdinand (Scout)
Scout hails from Highleigh Farms in Manassas, Virginia. He has a spunky personality, a booming bark, and is very "velcro." He loves to play and really loves to cuddle. Scout is a powerful athlete at 65 pounds. Scout is AMDCA-registered.
OFA Hips, Elbows, Knees and Eyes certified.

Madame vom Ca 'Dla Pia
Madame is the sweetest little girl. She is petite at 45 pounds, with a super soft coat. Her lighter eyes hint to her heritage, since her father is a rare Havana Brown Appenzeller. Madame is a sight-to-behold running and bounding, and outmanuevers both Scout and Atlas. Madame holds 'dual-citizenship" being registered with both ENCI (Italy) and AMDCA (North America).

Adoption Process
We take great care to raise well-socialized, family-oriented, pedigree Appenzeller puppies with nuture and love. The first step towards adoption is for a prospective owner to complete our digital application form using the hot pink link near the top of the website. The application form is used for pre-qualification. After reviewing the form, we will contact you to schedule a phone interview. After the interview, if approved, a depost is required to secure a puppy. A deposit is not required at that moment, and can be made at a time that is comfortable for the prospective owner. However, we do go in order of date of depost from a qualified applicant for the available puppies.
If interested in being added our waiting list, we encourage prospective owners to submit an application in order to get pre-qualified.
